Model Details

Boomstik places a BoomCore foam core beneath three layers of T700 carbon. Its MOI system consists of preinstalled perimeter weights that Selkirk uses to tune swingweight and resistance to twisting on off-center contact. Swingweight describes the mass distribution felt during a swing; twist resistance concerns rotation when the ball hits away from the center. This Jack Sock signature 16 mm Elongated retail version includes MOI weights. The system is semi-permanent, and removal can damage its parts.

Selkirk also offers a separate Elongated configuration without MOI weights for UPA professional events.
