Model Details
CFC places a fiberglass layer between two carbon layers to form the face. Beneath it sit an MPP foam center and a surrounding EVA foam ring. In the manufacturer’s floating-core construction, the center sits within that ring; internal weights along the sides set the distribution of mass. ArmorGrit uses two surface stages: a removable textured manufacturing fabric creates roughness on the carbon, then a proprietary coating with abrasive properties covers that texture. This gives it a different outer finish from an exposed carbon peel-ply texture. The Widebody places the same MPP Turbo core and surface construction in a broad 16 × 8 in body with a 5.5 in handle.
